We encourage students from a wide range of disciplines to submit their work. Papers should relate to an aspect of law and society in some manner, but need not have these topics as the central theme. Each year, the Nevada Law Journal publishes three issues, with articles written by professors, scholars, and practitioners from around the world. I/S publishes three issues per year, both in hard-copy and subscription-based online versions. Because privacy is such a critical topic, and the outlets for published research on this subject so few, I/S commits an entire issue each year to this topic.
The Spring 2019 publication of the Journal welcomed Madeline Goossen back as Editor-in-Chief. Hana is a junior from Milwaukee, Wisconsin studying Business Administration and Human Rights. She has been a part of the Journal for a year and is a lead editor for her second year. Outside of the Journal, she serves as a Senator in Undergraduate Student Government, the VP of Finance within AcceptED, an organization dedicated to fighting education inequality, and a Marshall Student Ambassador. Hana intends to pursue a career in business for a few years before pivoting to law school.
